The entire Essentials Session is placed inside a private, one-on-one Microsoft Teams classroom with a Support button for help resources. Participants must complete every assigned session exam. The Final Exam is released only after all materials, activities and session exams are completed, may be attempted no more than twice, and requires a grade of 70% or higher to pass. A focused participant may complete the pathway in one day after meeting all requirements.

How KickStart Works

2. Complete the Materials
Read, listen to, view and complete every assigned instructional resource, activity and supporting item.
3. Practice and Get Support
Complete hands-on practice using your compatible device and use the Support button for help resources when needed.
4. Complete Every Session Exam
Finish all required session examinations. The Final Exam remains locked until all materials and session requirements are completed.
5. Pass the Final Exam
Take the released Final Exam no more than twice and earn a grade of 70% or higher to pass.

Each session examination contains five multiple-choice questions. All five questions must be answered.
When is the Final Exam released?
The Final Exam is released only after all assigned KickStart materials, activities and session exams are completed.
