PHOEBE
A Psychological Thriller by: Casting Call
Phoebe is a compassionate funeral home professional who has devoted her life to preparing the deceased with dignity and helping grieving families find peace. After her father’s death, she expects to inherit the family funeral business. Instead, ownership passes to his business partner, leaving Phoebe as a trusted executive employee in the institution she believed would become her legacy. The manager has become the owner over flesh and blood and PHOEBE does not like this fact.
Although disappointed, PHOEBE remains devoted to her work and the quiet, structured life it provides. Everything changes when she meets Daniel, a charming stranger who awakens emotions she thought were long buried. As their relationship deepens, a simple question about Daniel’s past provokes a disturbing reaction and reveals a side of him she no longer recognizes.
Determined to uncover the truth, PHOEBE discovers secrets that force her to question Daniel, the people around her, and her own growing obsession. Set within the haunting atmosphere of a funeral home, PHOEBE explores grief, betrayal, inheritance, and the fragile line between justice and revenge—leading to a chilling conclusion that leaves one terrifying question:
Who is the real monster?
THE BALANCING ACT
A Gripping Story of Two Boxes, Two Lives and One Choice
The Balancing Act is a gripping New York action-drama following Bishme, a man released from prison determined to leave his past behind and build a better future with Sharon. But when Black, a dangerous figure from his former life, resurfaces, Bishme realizes that freedom has not ended his unfinished business.
Bishme soon finds himself caught between two boxes, the box he carried out of prison, representing his future, and a hidden chest he pulls from the earth, representing the past he thought he had buried. Forced to rely on old instincts without becoming the man he used to be, Bishme faces the ultimate balancing act: love or loyalty, survival or purpose, past or future.
Two boxes. Two lives. One Choice.
